The 2nd annual SoFlo Women in Surgery meeting was held on
May 29, 2024 at the Club in Weston Hills.
We had a great event with outstanding presenters and lively discussions about the community of women surgeons in South Florida.

OPEN DISCUSSION FORMAT
This year the format was open discussions with mentors rotating among attendees, prompting open dialogue about current topics including family planning, maternity leave and beyond, how to grow and advance professionally, experiences/trials of early attending years, surgery residency years, and surgical fellowship years.
