“I am thrilled to share that I have been selected as Vice Chair-Elect of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Medical Student Executive Committee, one of just four medical students nationally to serve in this leadership role. My term as Vice Chair-Elect will run from October 2025 to May 2026, after which I will assume the role of Vice Chair from May 2026 through May 2027, coinciding with my fourth year of medical school.
This opportunity is in addition to my previous selection as one of eight medical students nationally to the ACS Medical Student Task Force, where I have already had the privilege of working with like-minded students on preparing national programming for medical students pursuing surgery.
